about jenn erickson
I have been playing with clay since my elementary school days, making my earliest "forms" using the mud of the earth in my yard. Today, I create my wares in my home studio in Boston and at a cooperative pottery studio in Brookline, where I am a member. Over the last 15 years, my work in clay has included creating sculptural figures, creatures, objects, and decorative vessels. My current work includes functional and sculptural ceramics for the home and wearable ceramic art.
Inspiration for my work is derived from the forms, colors, textures, and patterns I see in this crazy awesome earth ~ in rocks and minerals, in life on land and underwater, and in the composition of colors in landscapes.
I contribute a portion of revenue generated from my art sales towards causes I care about. Learn more about the organizations I have supported here.
